Women Empowerment
Girls Going Forward (GGF) is a program aimed to empower female youth through entrepreneurial action by bringing them together in a safe and collaborative environment. Enactus George Brown has developed an entrepreneurship curriculum that incorporates empowerment activities as well as, a mentorship program with industry professionals for those who wish to start a business. All lessons have been thoughtfully customized to address the needs of our participants to promote positive growth. At the end of the program, the female youth will have the opportunity to showcase their new-found confidence and pitch their business ventures to a panel of judges at a competition. The top three teams will be awarded a monetary prize and support to help jump-start their business.

Women Entrepreneurial Action
Ti Rocher is a small village in St Lucia where the unemployment rates are high and the cost of living is expensive.
Enactus George Brown took our Girls Going Forward program and adapted it for these women. Through our lessons, the women created an all-natural cocoa sugar body scrub utilizing resources from their own backyards.
Their company is called Tropical Bliss. Through the success of the program, we expanded to another community in St Lucia and taught 32 aspiring entrepreneurs the importance of a unique business plan in order to help their business thrive in the small village of Micoud. The women continue to run their business and expand their market opportunities.
Locally and globally, Girls Going Forward has empowered individuals, changed lives, and built brighter futures.
